When Lou's new album, due out this summer, is released, the sleeve notes will include a dedication to Jordan Stephenson from Warrington,
Cheshire, who died from a brain tumour last July aged just nine years. Jordan was a dedicated fan of Louise, and the charity
"Make A Wish", which seeks to make dreams come true for terminally ill children, arranged for him to meet her. Louise invited Jordan to
dinner with her and her husband Jamie Redknapp, and, touched by his courage, she kept in touch with the youngster throughout his illness,
visiting him several times before his death, and also attended his funeral.
Jordan's mother Teresa told the Evening News: "Jordan finally got to meet Louise through unfortunate circumstances, but he was just so
happy to be with her he did not care...he had all her records and there were posters of her all over his walls. Louise rang me herself to say
that she wanted to make a dedication to Jordan and I was really pleased".
Louise said: "I am so pleased that I had the chance to brighten up his days. Jordan always used to say to me, 'Louise, I love you'. He
was a wonderful little boy".
